For regular visitors (not staying inside the scenic area): The admission ticket is valid for one-time entry only per day. If you leave the town after entering, the ticket becomes invalid and you cannot re-enter with the same ticket.

For guests staying at a hotel or guesthouse inside the West Scenic Zone: You are allowed to enter and exit the area freely during your stay. After checking in, you can apply for a pass at the service center by showing your room card, ID, and original ticket.

Accommodation is not free of charge. If you stay overnight inside the scenic area, you still need to pay for the room separately.

Admission tickets are still required, but if you stay at an official hotel or guesthouse inside the Xizha Scenic Area, you don’t need to buy a new ticket the next day. From March 16, 2025 onward, guests staying in official accommodations inside Xizha will receive free admission tickets for the duration of their stay.

After checking in, you can apply for a temporary re-entry pass at the service center by showing your ID and room confirmation. With this pass, you can enter and exit the scenic area freely during your stay, up until checkout the next day.

If you are not staying inside the scenic area or staying in a hotel that is not officially recognized, you will need to buy a new admission ticket each day you want to enter.

In Wuzhen, tickets for buses, trains, and flights can be purchased at the West Scenic Area (Xizha) Visitor Service Center.
The service desk at the Xizha Visitor Center sells bus tickets departing from Wuzhen or Tongxiang Bus Station to nearby cities, as well as domestic flight tickets across China.
Bus ticket service hours: 08:00–22:00 (please purchase at least 2 hours in advance).
Flight ticket service hours: 08:00–17:00.
There is also a self-service machine near the Xizha Community that provides train and high-speed rail ticket booking and pickup.
Tickets can be purchased using a Chinese bank card only.
The machine accepts second-generation Chinese ID cards for both booking and ticket collection.
