Boat cruise on westlake

- The Westlake Hangzhou (including boat cruise on westlake): West Lake has an area of 5.6 square kilometers (2.2 square miles) and is the symbol of Hangzhou which lies on its banks and is a place of tranquility. On the boat youcan see one of the Ten Best Views of West Lake- Three Pools Mirroring the Moon.The occasional pagoda and Chinese-style arched bridges add atmosphere to the tree-lined walkways, verdant islands and hills make West Lake a very special part of any China experience.

 

Fish Viewing at the Flower Pond

-Fish Viewing at the Flower Pond(Huagang Park)
This spot is located at the southern end of Su Causeway. A clean stream flows from Huajia Hill to join West Lake here, and many flowers grow where the fresh water flows in, so it called "Flowery Harbor". This area now has been made into a 22 hectare (54 acre) park with many varieties of trees and flowers, featuring a peony garden which blooms in April and a goldfish pond which is the famous site for viewing fish.


The Xiling Seal Society : is a charming institution dedicated to the study, preservation and creation of classical Chinese inscriptions, printmaking and painting. Located in West Lake (Xi Hu) on Solitary Hill island just opposite Zhongshan Park, the Society boasts a history of over 1,900 years

On a rising slope, the Society grounds are covered in beautiful gardens, rockeries, and sculpture and provide a great place to explore or just relax.

The Society has produced numerous books on classical Chinese artforms. Today, you can see the writers and artists at work and visit a small shop selling examples of their efforts.

 

Guo Garden

- Guo Garden : Completed in 1861, this elegant garden villa was built as a private retreat for a wealthy Qing Dynasty silk merchant. Guo's Villa (Gu Zhung, ׯ) is a fine example of Chinese aesthetics in which the manmade and natural blend in harmonious balance.The Villa opened to the public in 1991, after being restored. It faces Spring Dawn, by the Sudi Causeway which crosses the West Lake, and has a distant view of the serene Southern Screen Hill and the Baochu Pagoda. The villa has two sections (1) Living in Quietness, where the owner lived (2) the Sky in the Mirror garden, with a pond surrounded by roofed corridors (lang), bridges, rockwork, trees and flowers.


Fashion Show at Chinese Silk Museum

- The China National Silk Museum: is the first state-level professional silk museum in China as well as the biggest silk museum throughout the world. It opened to the public in 1992 and since 2004. Including the grounds, the Museum covers an area of 73 mou and the building space covers 12,000 square meters. The complex of buildings is somewhat fan-shaped, or curved like a bow. A statue of the legendary god of silkworms stands in front. The 6,100 square meters of exhibition space inside the Museum are divided into the Silk Culture Hall, the People's Customs Hall, the Silkworm and Mulberry Hall, the Silk Manufacture Hall, the Silkweaving Hall, the Printing and Dying Hall, and the Modern Accomplishments Hall. It displays more than one thousand items of cultural relics, specimen, pictures, implements and modern items. It overally brings forth the historical and realistic appearances of Chinese silk culture.

Lingyin Temple

- Lingyin Temple: Lingyin temple, commonly translated as "Temple of the Soul's Retreat" is one of the largest and wealthiest temples in China. It was originally founded in 326 AD, but has been rebuilt no less than sixteen times since then. Lingyin Temple is one of the ten most famous ancient Buddhist temples in China. It also houses various Buddhist literature and treasures situated in front of the Temple, and is famous for its more than 470 stone carvings of Buddhist figures, which dated from the 10th to 14th centuries.



Amanfayun Village

- Amanfayun Village: The picturesque Aman Fayun Village is located in the Fayun Nong area, surrounded by natural forest and scenery, a short drive west of Hangzhou. Nearby attractions include the village of Tianzhu, the Lingyin Temple, Flower Pond, West Lake, Hangzhou History Museum, and the Yongfu Temple. Amanfayun is located in a remote and tranquil forest., immerse yourself in an atmosphere of a traditional Chinese village; a true journey through time. Encountering Amanfayun for the first time is like stepping into a Zhang Yimou film (he of Raise the Red Lantern and the Beijing Olympics opening and closing ceremonies fame); your every glance is greeted with a kind of mise en scene; a bright-yellow parasol against the muted stone buildings, a glimpse into an ancient courtyard to someone sweeping away the fallen autumn leaves, a carved inscription in stone framed by lush wet vines. You will feel becoming gently untethered from the concerns of the day.


Meijiawu Tea Plantation

- Meijiawu Tea Plantation: Drogon Well Tea (simplified Chinese: ; traditional Chinese: ; pinyin: lngjng ch), also known as Longjing tea, is a variety of roasted green tea from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China where it is produced mostly by hand and has been renowned for its high quality, earning the China Famous Tea title. Meijiawu Tea village is seated at the hinterland of West Lake Park and it boasts the most important Dragon tea production basis. Here you are in an original natural environment, just relax your feelings and enjoy the special tea culture, taste the fragrant tea while appreciating the beautiful village scenery. And our guide or Tea Farmer will show you how to pick the leaves, how to fry the leaves and how to tell the quolity.

Bamboo Lined Path at Yunqi

- Bamboo Lined Path at Yunqi: Yunqi means clouds lingering. It is said that some auspicious color clouds came flying from the nearby Color Clouds Hill and lingered on here, hence the name. Bamboo C Lined Path at Yunqi is well known for its quietness and coolness. The famous stone paved footpath leading into the Yunqi valley is lined with hundreds of thousands of bamboo

 

Six Harmonies Pagoda

- Six Harmonies Pagoda: The Liuhe Pagoda is located on the north bank of the Qiantang River in the south of Hangzhou City. The Liuhe Pagoda is one of the famous ancient pagodas in our country and forms the wonderful sceneries of Hangzhou together with "the ten sceneries of the West Lake".
Highly erected by the Qiantang River and to the south of the West Lake, it is a perfect symbol of brick-and-wood structure built in the ancient China. It was first built in 970 AD in the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127). The name "six harmonies" comes from the six Buddhist ordinances, meaning "harmonies of the heaven, earth, east, west, south and north"
