Boat cruise on westlake

- The Westlake Hangzhou (including boat cruise on westlake): West Lake has an area of 5.6 square kilometers (2.2 square miles) and is the symbol of Hangzhou which lies on its banks and is a place of tranquility. On the boat you can see on of theTen Best Views of West Lake--Three Pools Mirroring the Moon.The occasional pagoda and Chinese-style arched bridges add atmosphere to the tree-lined walkways, verdant islands and hills make West Lake a very special part of any China experience.

Guo Garden

- Guo Garden : Completed in 1861, this elegant garden villa was built as a private retreat for a wealthy Qing Dynasty silk merchant. Guo's Villa (Gu¨­ Zhu¨¡ng, ¹ùׯ) is a fine example of Chinese aesthetics in which the manmade and natural blend in harmonious balance.The Villa opened to the public in 1991, after being restored. It faces Spring Dawn, by the Sudi Causeway which crosses the West Lake, and has a distant view of the serene Southern Screen Hill and the Baochu Pagoda. The villa has two sections (1) Living in Quietness, where the owner lived (2) the Sky in the Mirror garden, with a pond surrounded by roofed corridors (lang), bridges, rockwork, trees and flowers.

- China National Silk Museum: is the first state-level professional silk museum in China as well as the biggest silk museum throughout the world. The main content of this museum is composed of the history and cultural of silk as well as the scientific principles of silk techniques. It covers eight exhibition halls, namely the Prelude Hall, Relics Hall, Folk Custom Hall, Silkworm Hall, Silk Manufacturing Hall, Weaving Hall, Dyeing Hall and Achievements Hall. Former Chinese President Jiang Zemin once described it as "Promoting the ancient silk culture, and exploiting a new Silk Road."Apart from these permanent exhibitions, there are also some temporary special exhibitions, five silk markets, canteen and tearoom. Therefore, to spend day in the museum for the deep explore of China's 5,000-year silk culture and its developmental achievements is an enjoyable experience.


The Song Dynasty Imperial Street

- The Song Dynasty Imperial Street: Has been renamed Zhongshanlu Beiduan, but still leads to the Palace of the Northern Song dynasty (960-1127AD). The road that stretches 400 meters (1,310ft) is lined with snack bars that offer local delicacies and shops that sell antiques, embroidered items and silks among others.



Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal
- The Grand Canal in Hangzhou : is famous in the entire world on account of being the longest man made canal. It had been built almost 2000 years ago and since then played an important role in the Chinese Primary Economy. Today, it mainly serves as a water diversion passage.

The canal was built in various sections through many years and the conglomeration of these separated sections took place during the Sui Dynasty under the order of emperor Yangdi. Thousands of laborers were appointed for the work and many of them died out of the tremendous hard labor that they had undertaken. The entire project consumed an enormous amount of wealth and resulted in the final demise of the Sui Dynasty.

Lingyin Temple

- Lingyin Temple: Lingyin temple, commonly translated as "Temple of the Soul's Retreat" is one of the largest and wealthiest temples in China. It was originally founded in 326 AD, but has been rebuilt no less than sixteen times since then. Lingyin Temple is one of the ten most famous ancient Buddhist temples in China. It also houses various Buddhist literature and treasures situated in front of the Temple, and is famous for its more than 470 stone carvings of Buddhist figures, which dated from the 10th to 14th centuries.

National Tea Museum is surrounded by groves of tea trees and the area is beautifully manicured












- China National Tea Museum: is the only national museum which regards tea and tea culture as a subject. It locates at the hometown of the Dragon Well Tea - Hangzhou. It is open to public in 1991. It covers an area of 4.7 hectares. It is a modern museum which includes a lot of parts, such as culture revelation, science publicity, science research, academic communication, tea tasting, leisure, etc. The National Tea Museum is the exhibition center of Chinese tea culture; it is the professional place to collect tea cultural relics and tea materials. It is an important base to go on with tea research and tea culture activities. The most important one is that China National Tea Museum is the cradle to spread the Chinese tea art and culture to the world.

Meijiawu Tea Plantation

- Meijiawu Tea Plantation: Tea village is seated at the hinterland of West Lake Park and it boasts the most important tea production basis. Here you are in an original natural environment, just relax your feelings and enjoy the special tea culture, taste the fragrant tea while appreciating the beautiful village scenery.

Six Harmonies Pagoda

- Six Harmonies Pagoda: The Liuhe Pagoda is located on the north bank of the Qiantang River in the south of Hangzhou City. The Liuhe Pagoda is one of the famous ancient pagodas in our country and forms the wonderful sceneries of Hangzhou together with "the ten sceneries of the West Lake".
Highly erected by the Qiantang River and to the south of the West Lake, it is a perfect symbol of brick-and-wood structure built in the ancient China. It was first built in 970 AD in the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127). The name "six harmonies" comes from the six Buddhist ordinances, meaning "harmonies of the heaven, earth, east, west, south and north"


Bamboo Lined Path at Yunqi









- Bamboo Lined Path at Yunqi :Yunqi :¡± means clouds lingering. It is said that some auspicious color clouds came flying from the nearby Color Clouds Hill and lingered on here, hence the name. Bamboo ¨C Lined Path at Yunqi is well known for its quietness and coolness.In Yun Xi, you can enjoy different nice scenes in different seasons. Come in Spring for its bamboo shoots growing among the bamboo forest; in summer for the coolbreeze bringing the fragrance of trees; in autumn for its colorful forest over the surrounding hills; in winter for the whole valley clad in white. Three nice pavilions were constructed to grace the bamboo ¨C lined path: ¡°Mind Purifying Pavilion¡± ¡°Dragon Back Pavilion¡± and ¡°Meeting- Rain Pavilion¡±. It will be a wonderful experience to enjoy the rain scene by sitting in the pavilion.
